About the job
In this role you will be responsible for the design, test, characterization and integration of magnetic sensors into analog technology processes. This will include device design, modeling and electrical testing of new sensor technologies, as well as driving the sensor roadmap to achieve leadership in this exciting area.
Specific responsibilities will include:
- Device design of magnetic sensors
- Modeling & optimization of devices to meet performance specs.
- Working with customers and internal design groups to deliver high performance sensor solutions
- Working with wafer fabs to ensure device manufacturability and with reliability team to ensure device reliability.
- Wafer level and package level device characterization during development. This will include DC, RF and noise testing.
- Working within the team to transfer new test solutions into manufacturing
Minimum Requirments:
- PhD in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & computer Engineering, Engineering Physics, Microelectronics or Physics
- 2+ years of related industry experience in magnetic theory or devices
The ideal candidate will have a detailed understanding of magnetic theory, 1D/2D/3D modeling experience (Maxwell is preferred), be proficient in MATLAB, have an understanding of semiconductor IC process development and have solid experience in the measurement and testing of devices.
The person in this position must have solid communication skills that enable him/her to clearly document and communicate information with multiple team members in multiple sites/time zones and into multiple management chains. The ability to work effectively with a wide array of team members, design groups, and wafer fabs in multiple locations is essential.
